This long-range plan will guide decisions about housing, transportation, economy, parks, community facilities, and more. On October 4th, graduate students in urban, city, and regional planning from Texas A&M University, Texas Target Communities (TTC), and the Town of Pine Island will conduct their first community engagement event! Students will conduct short pop-up engagement questionnaires to gain insights into the community's vision for the future of Pine Island. Temporary set-ups will be throughout several locations:

• Waller County Fairgrounds:
  • Located at 21988 FM359, Hempstead, TX 77445
  • From 12:00 pm – 4:00 pm
• The John Fairey Garden Conservation Foundation:
  • Located at 20559 FM359, Hempstead, TX 77445
  • From 12:00 pm – 3:00 pm
